Processing Community Japan is calling for works to be shown at the exhibition of Processing Community Day Tokyo 2026 held on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Processing turns 25 in 2026. For this exhibition we are collecting works on the theme "25", to be shown at NEORT++. Works can also be submitted to the ZINE.
To celebrate where Processing has been and where it is going, make a work with "25" as its motif.
How you use 25 is up to you. You can put the characters "25" on screen, or use it somewhere in your calculations.
Take 25 as one starting point and make something from it.
Until Wednesday, October 21, 2026 , 23:59 JST
Saturday, October 24, 2026, 10:00 - 16:30
NEORT++ (Bakurocho, Tokyo)
All submitted work will be compiled and displayed in rotation on a screen.
Post your work to NEORT.IO, digital art platform with the following tag:
PCDTokyo2026
Submitted works will be collected in a ZINE (PDF, free to download). If you would like your work included, please submit it separately.
The deadline is Sunday, September 27, 2026 — earlier than the exhibition, so please take note.
See the guidelines below for how to submit.
Any format that can be posted to NEORT.io is fine.
Any size is fine, but we recommend making your work in a way that does not depend on screen size.
Works that run for a long time are fine, but they may be switched over partway through during the exhibition.
For details, see the event page and the guidelines.
Works that are offensive to public order and morals, or otherwise judged unsuitable for exhibition, may not be shown.
Depending on the content of submitted works, we may adjust how they are displayed.
There is no posted art. Let's challenge first!
